History-Making Screen Size Paired with Flexible, Ergonomic, and Practical Design
When Barco introduced the Coronis Fusion MDCC-6130 to the market, it was the industry's first 30-inch, color LCD screen that provided radiologists with the option to have one wide-screen 6MP (3,280 x 2,048 pixels) display or two seamless 3MP displays. This design gives you the freedom to organize and read images however you want. You can place CT, MR, cath, and echocardiogram images on a single screen in any combination side by side, free of any bezel or other visual distractions.

An added design feature is the anti-reflective, protective front cover that improves image contrast while preventing damage to the screen and making disinfecting easier and safer for the electronic components.

Between its impressive 30-bit lookup table and IPS-Pro LCD technology, the Barco MDCC-6130 displays crisp images with enhanced grayscale and color shades and perfected brightness and contrast even from a wide viewing angle.

The MDCC-6130 has an ultra-bright, DICOM-calibrated luminance of 800 cd/m2, which enables the simultaneous display of grayscale, color, and fused modalities.

Uniform luminance technology, combined with an intelligent backlight design, distributes light evenly across the screen to ensure that no abnormality goes undetected because of dim spots. As a result, non-uniformities are reduced to less than 10%.

As lighting conditions around workstations shift, image quality is preserved with Barco's patented ambient lighting compensation (ALC) and I-Guard® technologies. These technologies, embedded within a front-of-screen sensor, continuously detect changes in lighting and make adjustments to both monitor brightness and the grayscale and color values in the image to comply with DICOM standards.

Automated DICOM Calibration and QA
You don't have to think about calibrating your equipment or manually performing QA checks ever again. Instead, focus on what you know and care about: Reading images. Without interrupting your reading sessions, integrated MediCal QAWeb® software automatically calibrates the Barco MDCC-6130 so that you comply with DICOM and conducts QA checks.
