DUAL OS: Two Independent Windows Operating Systems on a Single PC (Dual Boot)
Enhance your new workstation with a Dual-Boot Windows 11 Pro Configuration Service, designed for users who need separate operating environments on the same machine. As part of this service, Monitors.com installs two independent Windows 11 Pro operating systems on a single NVMe drive by creating two dedicated partitions. For example, if your PC includes a 1TB NVMe drive, it will be evenly partitioned into 512GB for each operating system. Larger drives will follow the same proportional split unless otherwise requested.
When the system powers on, you will be presented with a straightforward boot menu that lets you choose which operating system to boot into. Each OS runs completely independently, ensuring clean separation between workspaces, applications, and settings. Switching between the two environments requires restarting the computer and selecting the alternate operating system from the boot menu.
Customers may request custom names for each boot optionâfor instance, âWork OSâ and âGaming OS.â If no names are specified, Monitors.com will apply default labels of PC1 and PC2. Please note that this service is limited to partitioning a single NVMe drive; dual-booting across multiple drives is not offered at this time. This add-on provides a streamlined, user-friendly way to organize separate workflows on a single high-performance workstation.
